Halloween Cards - BOO!!

Silly, I know, but I've always loved Halloween. I think originally because I always loved dressing up and coming up with ideas for costumes. That must be what led to me performing as a musical theater actress and costume designer for 15 years. Now, it translates into love of making Halloween projects. These are the projects we made in my Halloween class. Many of these you have already seen around, bless all the wonderful people who share their work. Wicked Cool Treat Slider Card

These are so fast and fun. I've made a bunch more and filled them with Candy Corn. So much nicer now that I don't have to stress about them ripping the card apart to get to the candy! LOL.

Ghost Treat Box Card

Another card that looked so difficult but was really easy to make. The original card that I cased this from used a stamp set for the face, but I thought it was really easy to just draw.


Boo Card

Even without having any candy attached, this was a really popular card in my class.


Haunted House Magical Marquee

Even though I showed this card earlier, I wanted to list it again so that it is easy to find the link and to also document my Halloween card class altogether, which leaves my final project...


Coffin Candy Box

Don't be intimidated by this project at all. It is really, really easy. The template is well-designed so the box and lid go together really easily. And excuse me while I pat myself on the back, but I was the winner of the LNS weekly challenge with this project. First time I think I have ever won anything!

I Love Halloween -- BOO!!!

I love Halloween. So many people don't for various reasons, and I can appreciate their views. For that reason I've never had a class solely on Halloween projects, but this year I am. I am so excited about these two projects that even though my class is not until next week, I wanted to go ahead and show them.

Next, is a project I'm really excited about!!!

Now this is a project you will want to make someone who is really special. Not because it is difficult, because it is really, really easy. But you'll want to make it for someone special because its pretty large. It will definitely hold a bundle of candy. House of Haunts - Fun with Bleaching Techniques

I'm sure this card has been around for quite awhile. I know I made one last year, but unfortunately I don't know who the original designer is. If you know, PLEASE let me know so that I can update my post.

What was so fun about this card is just painting the moon and the windows of the house with bleach. Who knew it would automatically turn the gray paper to a bright yellow! And of course, we had to decorate the inside of the card too:
