Designer Handbag - Wait! It's a Card!

Is this not just the cutest thing! I had my first downline meeting and this was the make and take we did. Although I think my ladies were a bit nervous when they first saw the project we were going to make, I think they were equally surprised to see that it wasn't that difficult. Each walked away with a beautiful little handbag that they were very proud of. We didn't have time to make the cards so we'll get together another time to do that.

I am going to be scheduling a class in which we will be making this adorable handbag and the cards. It will be in one of my "Stamp Set of the Month" classes that I hold once a month. That month we will focus on the Fifth Avenue Floral Stamp Set. You can see my list of ingredients here.

If you can't make it to my class, let me know if you would like to purchase the template (which I will send to Becky Roberts), the stamp set and all the precut papers. You can also choose from the Stampin' Up! Catalog (see my online store at http//kayleenclements.stampinup.net) what DSP paper you would like to use for your purse!

Thanks for stopping by.

Pennant Parade

I'll admit, I wasn't that crazy about this stamp set and punch when it first was revealed to us as demos, but I joined a local swap where our cards had to have a pennant theme which kind of forced me to do something with it. This is what I cased, and now I love it!

Isn't it so cute! I think I'll have this card for a workshop in the future. Maybe a workshop centered around baby cards!

I received lots of other really cute cards as well, so you may be seeing some of those eventually cased here.

I haven't had a chance to put the instructions down for this card yet, but when this link goes live, you'll be able to get the full credits, ingredients, measurements and directions. Until then, have a great day.

Strength and Hope - Mini Note Kit

The current mini catalog is about to expire, and I'll be sad to see this particular stamp set leave. I really love it not only for its look, but particularly for what it stands for. For every one of these stamp sets purchased, Stampin' Up! donates $2 to the breast cancer society.

This is one of the projects I will be teaching in my workshop this Saturday. There is still room left if you haven't signed up for the last chance mini workshop. Don't miss out on some of the adorable and beautiful projects you can make from these stamp sets that are retiring.

This project was originally created by the talented Lynn Pratt. Click here to see the ingredients and measurements used to make this project.

All Aboard - Old Vintage Set

Knowing that I had this vintage Stampin' Up! set, my boss asked that I make some birthday cards for our clients (that gives you an idea of the type of clients that we have). Anyway, it took me forever to find out the name of this set -- All Aboard. Anyway, hope you enjoy them.

Aviary Birthday Card

One more share before I go to bed. This is a card I've cased and prepared for a swap. Isn't it just too cute? I don't know why I was so enchanted by this card when I saw it.

All the goods on how to make this card can be found here.

House of Haunts - Fun with Bleaching Techniques

I'm sure this card has been around for quite awhile. I know I made one last year, but unfortunately I don't know who the original designer is. If you know, PLEASE let me know so that I can update my post.

What was so fun about this card is just painting the moon and the windows of the house with bleach. Who knew it would automatically turn the gray paper to a bright yellow! And of course, we had to decorate the inside of the card too:

Its just the cuteness factor. Okay, for the ingredients, measurements and directions, click here.

Bring On the Cake - Chocolate Cake, Of Course!

I can't think of anything better than chocolate cake, except maybe this adorable card cased from the talented Patty Bennett.

Oh my goodness when I saw her sample I couldn't wait to make one. Now I have to make a bunch of them and give them away so that I don't eat the rest of the chocolate!!

Falling Leaves Thanksgiving Card

Okay, I can't resist sharing another card taught in my class today, just because I think it is such a beautiful fall card -- a Thanksgiving card...

I don't know if the picture does this card justice, but to see the glittery leaves, it is really beautiful. I think my customers were a little disappointed at first when they heard we were going to make a Thanksgiving card, but they were pretty excited by the time we had finished. One of my clients was pretty excited thinking of all the different kinds of cards she could make with this design...Thank you cards, birthday cards, etc.

Here is the inside of the card:

Simple, fast and pretty. That's my kind of card. To get the full credit of the original designer, ingredients, measurements and directions, click here.

Let me know if you have some ideas on other ways to alter this card.

Jump on Holiday Cards

Today I taught a class on Holiday cards. We made a Halloween card, Thanksgiving card, Jewish card and a few Christmas cards. Here is my favorite. I'll post the others later with the directions.

This is a take off another card I've done in the past. One of my customers asked if I would make the same card, but with a Christmas theme. What is more Chrismassy than Poinsettias? If you would like directions to make this card, click here.

Thanks for coming by for a visit. Please leave a message to let me know you were here. I'll be posting more of my holiday cards over the next few days.

Wedding Sweet Hearts

Another card that I taught (and cased) to my clients this past Saturday was this adorable wedding card. Soooo easy, and soooo adorable. This was my favorite card. In fact, I had a guest over for dinner that night, showed them the card and they ended up buying it from me they loved it so much. Guess I need to make up more of these little cuties. For credits, ingredients, measurements and directions, go here.

I'd love to hear your feedback!

Owl Get Well Card

This adorable Owl get well card was a card I obtained from a swap at Convention 2011. The only reference I have on the card is that it was made by Melissa. Melissa, if you happen to see this, I'd like to give you full credit so send me your name and contact girl!

I taught this card in my All Occasion Card Class yesterday, and it was clearly one of the favorites. I'll post the other cards we did this week, but I wanted to at least get one card up for you to see. For full ingredients and directions, please go here.

I'd love to hear your comments.
